SSC CGL Selection Process
A particular pattern is followed to recruit the final list of candidates at Group B and C posts.

Interested ones need to complete their online application process with fee payment.

The ones with successful registration, are eligible to have their call letters for the online Tier I exam on the given date.

The candidates then appear for the Tier I objective-based test, and qualified ones are directed to the next phase.

The aspirants who successfully clear Tier I, download their Tier II admits on the scheduled date and appear for the test.

Again, successful ones from Tier II, need to appear for the Tier III exam, which is conducted in pen and paper mode (descriptive test).

Those who clear the tier III exam are called for the final Tier to test their computer deficiencies. However, the marks scored in Tier IV doesn't count in the final process.

To select the final list of candidates for various posts, you der Group B and C, the scores of the first three tiers are calculated.
