BSF Head Constable Eligibility
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
Age Relaxation:
The candidates from certain reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the Government norms. Candidates can check the BSF Head Constable age relaxation criteria as mentioned in the BSF Head Constable notification.

BSF Head Constable (Ministerial) Educational Qualification
The educational qualification for the post of constable should have the following qualifications/ skills
- Passed a minimum education of intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
- Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm in English, and 30 wpm in Hindi
Number Of Attempts:
If one starts appearing from the minimum age of 20 years then the number of attempts is restricted to 5, as the maximum age limit is 25 years.

- Phase I will comprise Written Examination
- Phase II will comprise the following

BSF HC (Ministerial) Exam Pattern: Typing Speed Test
Applicants for the post of BSF HC (Ministerial) can opt to take the typing test in either English or Hindi. Candidates must keep in mind the following about the BSF HC Typing Test:
- Candidates taking the test in English should have a minimum typing speed of 35 wpm (10500 KDPH).
- Candidates taking the test in Hindi should have a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm (9000 KDPH).
- The duration of the test will be 10 minutes.
